One of my all time favorite drinks at Starbucks (or anywhere for that matter) is peppermint mocha. I love peppermint any time of year and chocolate coffee is the best thing on this planet. To make these cupcakes all you need is a chocolate cake with a little instant expresso and a peppermint mocha frosting {just add coffee and peppermint extract to a chocolate frosting}. And frost with some holiday sprinkles!
