So when getting our costumes together we picked from things we already had.
I went as a cross between Britney Spears in Baby One More Time, Serena van der Woodsen from the high school years of Gossip Girl, & just your average private school girl. It is one of the easiest costumes if you have: a white button down, a plaid skirt, and flats. You can add a tie and knee highs if you have them {I didn't, but it was incredibly cold so I put on tights}. Complete the look with some slightly messy hair and a smoky eye.
Devi originally was going to be a butterfly, but the weather changed and she ended up going as a fairy. S/o to Katie Meckley for sending me a glow-in-the-dark wand in my Halloween care package, it tied the look together. To make Devi's costume you need: wings, a floral dress, a wand {if you have one}, and any pair of shoes.
Barbara went as an adorable cat in all black and a white shirt on top {probably out of fear of the cold}. She bought some cute cat ears and Devi drew on her nose and whiskers.
Emma went as Wednesday Adams {my favorite outfit of the night}, Caroline went as a private school girl, and Bentley went as a rock climber. Check out the photos below-xoxo darling, Hayden.
